It makes sense that some of the best comedians are also teachers-the profession definitely requires an ironclad sense of humor. Grab a hall pass and head to this stand-up showcase, which offers a NSFW take on classroom dynamics relayed by real-life educators and funny folks Todd Basil, Tina Hogstrom, Naomi Fitter and Katie Nguyen (along with some special guests and surprises!). The Teacher Show, created and hosted by Don Gavitte, has been described as a "solution for teacher burnout" by NPR and a "must see" byWillamette Week. All ages welcome but expect strong content that will not be suitable for building administrators and/or helicopter parents. The Lounge has a 2 Drink minimum but, don't worry, we have LOTS of options both with and without alcohol. Prices range from $3-$10. Get tickets here on the website!
