Join WNC Votes! for a nonpartisan door to door canvassing event in Asheville's Southside neighborhood! We'll start with a thorough training, including setup and help using the MiniVAN mobile canvassing app. No prior canvassing experience needed. We'll provide everything you need-walk lists, talking points, conversation starters, safety tips, voter handouts-and everyone canvasses with a buddy. Our modified deep canvassing approach makes talking with voters easy, engaging and fun. With outreach to sporadic voters, and a focus on voters' interests and concerns, deep canvassing supports voters in believing that their voice matters.
